Awesomer Gossamer Shawl is a large, lightweight shawl designed to celebrate the soft, airy texture of mohair and play with color.
The shawl is knitted with two strands of lace-weight yarn held together, using eight colors. One color changes at a time, allowing the shades to blend gradually and create a marled fading effect. The design begins with garter stitch and continues with a series of bubbles that grow from small to large.
The pattern includes written instructions and supporting video tutorials for the cast-on, bubble technique and bind-off.
