Description

A harmonious selection of four mini skeins, presented in a gift box and ready to give—or keep for yourself—for a little more color, softness, and time to create.

Each box includes four 50 g mini skeins of Merino de la Patagonia Superfine Fingering, spun from the Merino fiber with the lowest micron count in our collection. At just 17.5 µ, it offers exceptional softness and feels very pleasant against the skin.

With a total of 200 g and 800 m, this bundle gives you more room to explore color. It is ideal for colorwork, stripes, shawls, small accessories, or combining with other yarns from the collection.

The bundles may include the natural, undyed shade of the fiber, as well as colors hand-dyed with natural dyes.

About the fiber

Verified regenerative origin. The fiber comes from Patagonian farms verified by Land to Market™, where measurable environmental outcomes such as soil health, biodiversity, and the water cycle are monitored.

The people who raise these flocks manage their land and animals by working with the cycles of nature, helping to create more diverse ecosystems, healthier soils, and a greater capacity for regeneration.

Quality and animal welfare. The wool is sourced directly from farms that meet OVIS XXI’s advanced wool-classing standards for Ultimate Merino Wool, as well as the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS).

The Ultimate Merino Wool designation identifies fiber that has been selected and classed at the source according to criteria for quality, traceability, and responsible management. These standards support practices that respect the sheep, the people, and the environment.

About the color

Our colored skeins are hand-dyed in small batches using natural dyes. This process may create subtle variations from one skein to another, which are part of the unique character of each color.

You can learn more about this ancestral technique in our article: Hand-dyeing with natural dyes.

Care

Hand wash in cold water using a pH-neutral detergent made specifically for wool. Do not soak or wring. Lay flat to dry in the shade.
